I purchased a large wool living room rug and rug liner from Jordan’s furniture store and paid close to $1, 000. After a month it started shedding more than usual and it looked faded. One of their inspectors came to my home after I called the store and he stated that “all wool rugs do that”. I immediately called the store and spoke to some women who told me there was nothing that they could do and that I could return the rug and liner and they would reimburse me $250. I’ve had wool rugs in the past, and none ever shed like that one. I recently moved in the area, and bought other furniture from that store, but I have learned my lesson. I’ve tried other means to get full reimbursement, but when your a large store such as they, it’s impossible.
